Trip Overview

This 6-day safari takes you to some of Tanzania’s most famous wildlife areas. After a warm welcome at the airport, you’ll visit Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant herds, and then travel to the Serengeti for exciting game drives. Next, you’ll explore the Ngorongoro Crater, a special place with lots of animals, before finishing your trip at Lake Manyara National Park, where you can see tree-climbing lions and colourful birds. This safari offers a chance to see Tanzania’s beautiful nature and wildlife up close.

Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport.

Upon arrival at the airport, our  Tansafari Tours representative will be there to welcome you. After a warm greeting, you will receive a short briefing about your upcoming adventure. From there, you will be transferred to your lodge, where you can relax and recover from your journey. Take this time to settle in, enjoy the surroundings, and prepare for the exciting days ahead.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park

After  breakfast at your lodge, you will embark on your first game drive to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire National Park is Known for its large herds of elephants and striking baobab trees, the park offers an unforgettable safari experience.

As you drive through the park, keep an eye out for a wide range of wildlife, including lions, giraffes, zebras, and various bird species. You’ll have the opportunity to stop and enjoy the scenic landscapes, with plenty of time for wildlife viewing and photography. After the exciting game drive, you will drive to your lodge for a relaxing evening, where you can reflect on the day’s adventures.

Day 3:Game Enroute to Serengeti National Park

Today, you’ll begin your journey to Central Serengeti National Park. On the way, you’ll pass through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a beautiful area with amazing views. Your guide will stop at the Serengeti gate to take care of the logistics before entering the park. Once inside, you’ll start your game drive right away, enjoying the chance to spot wildlife along the way.

The Serengeti is home to a wide variety of animals, so be ready to see zebras, wildebeest, lions, and many other animals as you drive through the park. Your guide will make sure you don’t miss any interesting sights. After the drive, you’ll continue to your lodge in the Serengeti, where you can relax and unwind.

Day 4:Guided Game Drive at Serengeti National Park.

Today, you will have a full day to explore Central Serengeti. Central Serengeti is known for its abundant wildlife, and you’ll have plenty of opportunities to spot animals like lions, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and more. Your guide will take you to some of the best spots for viewing wildlife, and you’ll also enjoy the beautiful landscapes of the Serengeti.

You’ll stop for a picnic lunch during the day, allowing you to relax and enjoy the surroundings. After a full day of wildlife sightings and adventure, you’ll return to your lodge for meals and overnight.

Day 5:Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, you will leave Serengeti National Park and begin your journey to the Ngorongoro Crater. On the way, you’ll enjoy the scenic drive as you leave the vast Serengeti plains behind and head towards the crater. Upon arrival, your guide will take you to the edge of the crater, where you’ll have a stunning view of the entire area.

Afterward, you will descend into the crater for a game drive. This UNESCO World Heritage site is home to an incredible variety of wildlife, including elephants, rhinos, lions, and many more. It’s a unique experience to see so many animals in such a beautiful setting. After a day of exploring the crater, you will drive to your lodge for a peaceful evening and rest.

Day 6: Lake Manyara National Park then Departure

After breakfast, you’ll drive to Manyara National Park. In the park, you may spot the famous tree-climbing lions, along with elephants, buffaloes, and a variety of bird species, including flamingos that gather by the lake. The park offers a unique mix of environments, from dense forests to open plains, making it an interesting place to explore. After a memorable morning, you’ll enjoy a relaxing lunch before driving  to the airport for your departure. Your guide will ensure a smooth transfer to the airport for your onward journey.
