Day By Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Dar es Salaam.

Upon arrival at Dar es Salaam Airport, our friendly team will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel. You will  relax and refresh after your journey, enjoying the comfort of your hotel and exploring the nearby area at your leisure. Rest well, as your exciting tour of Dar es Salaam begins tomorrow!

Day 2: Exploring Dar es Salaam

You will begin your day with an engaging City Centre Tour, where you’ll explore the vibrant mix of modern and colonial architecture. you will Start at the Old Boma, a historical building showcasing colonial design, then proceed to Karimjee Hall, the site of Tanzania’s first parliament. Next,you will  visit the Askari Monument, commemorating African soldiers who fought in World War I, and the Ocean Road Hospital, one of the oldest hospitals with significant historical value.

As midday approaches,you will dive into the bustling Kariakoo Food Market that offers a wide variety of local foods and goods. you will Continue to the Kisutu Fabric Market, renowned for its colorful textiles, and then experience the lively Ferry Fish Market.you will take a tranquil break at the Botanical Garden, a serene space with diverse plant species. Additionally you will Learn about the African liberation movements at the African Liberation Heritage Centre.

In the afternoon, immerse yourself in the local art scene by visiting the Tinga Tinga Arts Cooperative Society and Nafasi Art Space, a hub for contemporary art and cultural exchange in Tanzania. Finally, you will return to your hotel for a restful evening, reflecting on the day’s rich experiences.

Day 3:Hiking at Pugu Forest.

Today,you will visit the Pugu Forest,also known as the Pugu Hills Forest Reserve,which  is a protected area located close to Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. It’s one of the oldest forests in the country, and a critical green lung for Dare-salaam city.With a variety of hiking trails that cater to different fitness levels, the Pugu Forest is a good for hikers.Trails range from easy walks to challenging climbs,offering scenic views of the forest and surrounding areas.

Day 4:Kunduchi ruins and Mbudya Island

On this day , you will start your morning with a visit to the Kunduchi Ruins, where you’ll explore the remains of a 15th-century mosque and settlement, offering a glimpse into the area’s historical significance. As midday you will head to Mbudya Marine Reserve with a boat,It is a protected island known for its clear waters and vibrant coral reefs. Enjoy a range of aquatic activities, including snorkeling with provided gear, and savor a delicious Swahili BBQ on the beach.You will Conclude your day by return to your hotel, reflecting on the blend of history and natural beauty you’ve experienced.

Day 5:Sinda Island.

You will set off for Sinda Island,which is part of the Dar es Salaam Marine
Reserve known for its stunning coral reefs. Expect
vibrant marine life just waiting to be explored.You will spend the morning hiking and snorkeling on this serene island. You will continue to explore and enjoy the island’s tranquil environment throughout the afternoon. In the evening,you will return to your hotel, reflecting on the day’s adventures amidst the island’s natural splendor.

Day 6:Makumbusho Village Museum.

You will start with a visit to the National Museum, where you’ll delve into Tanzania’s history, culture, and natural heritage. Next, you will explore the architectural and historical significance of St. Joseph, St. Alban, and Azania Front Lutheran Cathedrals.After lunch you will  head to the Makumbusho Village Museum. This “living museum” offers an authentic glimpse into traditional Tanzanian life, with displays of  different tribal dwellings, skilled craftspeople, and vibrant dance performances. You will Conclude your day with some shopping for souvenirs and crafts at local shops and markets, before returning to your hotel for the evening.
