Tansafari Tours
Our ethos
Tansafari tours, our Tanzania safaris and tours are in harmony with nature and the people of this beautiful country. Whenever possible, we try to steer clear of crowds. Our guides will always respect national park regulations, which have been established to protect the wildlife. This means, among other things, adhering to speed limits, keeping to authorized tracks only, and maintaining enough distance from the animals at all times so as not to make them nervous or hinder their hunting. We’re also among the best Tanzania tour operators listed on Safari Bookings.
One of the Best Tour Operator in Tanzania
We do our best to choose accommodations that are run by people who share our same love of nature and treat their staff, our guides, and our clients respectfully and fairly.
Through our activities, we provide support to local communities in their efforts to create better living conditions and education. In return, as a tourist, you benefit from the generous outpouring of local hospitality and gain insight into real day-to-day living in Tanzania.
We want you to feel Tanzania’s vitality and not just observe it through the car window. In addition to the usual viewing of the country’s landscapes and wildlife, we offer you options to visit local villages, discover indigenous tribes, stroll through marketplaces, visit schools, hike, cycle, and more.

Director & Senior Guide
I grew up in close contact with nature in a rural village in Northern Tanzania. Since my childhood, I have been fascinated and enchanted by the unique flora and fauna of my homeland. From this, came the desire to share my fascination with others while also contributing to and ensuring the preservation of this country’s natural habitats and wildlife. This led me to study environmental conservation, travel management, tourism, and tourism marketing, and eventually become a licensed safari guide. I have been guiding for more than 15 years now, sharing my extensive knowledge of Tanzania’s flora, fauna, and culture with visitors to Tanzania, and, importantly, with my staff. I strive for superior quality in all areas: guiding, accommodation, safari vehicles, cultural programs, and the many little extras that can make a Tanzanian holiday so special. My ultimate goal is to ensure that your visit to Tanzania will be much more than what you ever hoped for, that you will, in the end, be as excited about Tanzania as I am, and that the memories of your visit will bring smiles to your faces for years to come.

TRAVEL CONSULTANTS
Our travel consultants are highly skilled and really love their job! They will be more than happy to help you plan your visit. If you already have an itinerary in mind, just send it to us and they will price it for you; importantly, they will also let you know if there are any changes they would suggest. If you have no idea where to begin, do not worry; our travel consultants will be happy to propose an itinerary just for you that meets your needs. Having a conversation – whether by phone, Skype, e-mail, WhatsApp, or Messenger – is usually the best way to get started! They can explain to you what to expect at the time of year you are planning to come, suggest accommodations for your tastes and budget, and tell you about additional activities that you might enjoy. Your travel consultant will work hand in hand with you until you are sure you have found the perfect itinerary!

SAFARI GUIDES
All of our guides are licensed and have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in the field, if not more. They are multilingual, so please let us know if you require a guide who speaks a language other than English. Our guides are skilled drivers for the types of terrain you will be covering. They have in-depth knowledge of Tanzania’s flora and fauna, and will enjoy sharing it with you. Importantly, they know how to approach the animals and how to “read” their mood; this helps keep you safe! When your guide tells you to do something, or not to do something, you can be assured that he is keeping your best interests at heart. It goes without saying that your guide is also a great resource for any cultural questions you might have.

Tansafari Tours Vehicles
Your 4×4 safari vehicle is one of the most important contributors to a safe and enjoyable safari experience. All of our vehicles are Toyota Land Cruisers, converted especially for safaris. Given the amount of time you will spend in your vehicle while on safari, we make it our priority to ensure that your vehicle is in tip-top condition. We service every vehicle upon return from safari and use a rigorous checklist before departure to ensure that everything is in order.
Tansafari Tours vehicles can seat up to 7 passengers and are fitted with seatbelts for your safety. Every passenger is guaranteed a window seat. There are two pop-up roofs/hatches – one in the front and one in the main cabin – for more expansive game viewing and photographing. While we aim for maximum comfort, road conditions can make the driving quite bumpy at times; if you are prone to back problems, please let us know and we can provide you with extra cushions.
Every vehicle is equipped with a two-way long-range radio for easy communication with other vehicles in the vicinity, a state-of-the-art GPS tracking system, a fridge for keeping your drinks cool, and, importantly, inverters (both UK- and US-style plugs) for charging your electronics. The standard voltage in Tanzania is 230V, and the standard frequency is 50Hz.
