The Serengeti National Park is a vast National Park Located in Northern Tanzania that stretches over 14,763Km2 .The landscape of Serengeti is a blend of grassland plains, savannah and woodlands. The name Serengeti originates from the Maasai People which translates to “a land that never ends”. The Serengeti National Park in Contiguous with Maasai Mara National Reserve to the North and at the south East of the Park is The great Ngorongoro Conservation Area.The only river in the Serengeti ecosystem that flows Continuously is the Mara River.

Serengeti National Park offers Unique Wildlife experience throughout the year no matter when you choose to Visit. The southern Serengeti, Particularly  the Ndutu region, is the birthing ground for thousands of wildebeest calves between the Months of January and March.

During April May and June, when the rains lessen, the herds migrate to the central and eastern regions(Goal Kopjes), providing fantastic opportunities for game viewing amidst the lush  green surroundings.

In the end of July, the herds of the wildebeest head to the northern Serengeti, and in the month of August and October the Mara River Crossing occur, this is an Interesting and dramatic event to witness. This Period of the year is highly favorable for photographers and wildlife enthusiasts to capture the unique moments. The wildebeest start their trip back  to the southern Part in late October.

They are once again in the Southern Serengeti, Completing the annual Migration Cycle. While the migration is undoubtedly a highlight of Serengeti National Park, the park offers a multifaceted experience that extends far beyond this annual phenomenon.
