Tanzania is a beautiful country located in East Africa. It is a country that is Blessed abundantly with a lot of resources and Beauty. Location-wise,Tanzania is in the  East of the African Continent with 947,407 Km squared making it the Largest Country in East Africa,13th largest country in Africa and the 31st largest in the world. This Unique Country is bordered by eight Countries:Kenya and Uganda at the North, Rwanda, Burundi, and Democratic Republic of the Congo at the west , Zambia, Malawi, and Mozambique and the Indian ocean at the East of Tanzania.

Dodoma is the capital city of Tanzania and it is Located at the central Part of the Country. Tanzania  is a Peaceful and Safe  country whereby it is very stable Politically making it an ideal destination for an African Safari. In Tanzania the Most common religion is Christianity where majority of Tanzania’s are Christians. Other religions in the country Include Islam, Hinduism and Buddhism

Swahili is the National Language of Tanzania; However, English is also used in Businesses and Schools and in the professional world. The Most Popular Mountain and the Highest Point of Africa is located in the Northern Part of Tanzania. Great Lakes(Lake Victoria, Lake Tanganyika, Lake Malawi),The great Indian ocean. National Parks with wild animals, Insects and Birds of all kinds, Forest with all kinds of Flowers and trees Unique minerals such as the Tanzanite.

Tanzania Initially known as Tanganyika  gained its independence from the united Kingdom In the year 1961 and in the year 1964 Tanganyika and Zanzibar joined forces together to form the United republic of Tanzania, therefore the name Tanzania was formed from Tanganyika and Zanzibar. The  first President of Tanzania Mwalimu Julius Kambarage Nyerere focused his attention Socialism and unity of the Tanzania People. This is the reason why Tanzania is a very peaceful and safe country despite the country having more than 120 ethnic groups.

Tanzania has 22 National Parks that are managed by TANAPA(Tanzania National Parks Authority) and several other protected Areas such as The Ngorongoro Conservation area and Selous Game reserve.The National parks are well Packed with diverse Flora and Fauna, making Tanzania stand out as the Best safari destination in Africa.

Tanzania’s Famous National Parks Include. Tarangire National Park with a lot of elephants and it is Nicknamed the Elephant’s Paradise, The Serengeti National Park where the great wildebeest migration occurs yearly, Lake Manyara National Park popular known for tree Climbing Lions, The Arusha National Park, these are just but a few parks in Tanzania which all are unique with various features and the Big five.

Tanzania is in a constant evolving Journey and a lot has changed since independence with the Government and the people of Tanzania all striving to make changes, it is a land of resilience that continues to Positively transform in each and every passing day.
