This group tour offers a unique opportunity to witness the incredible wildebeest calving season in Ndutu, where thousands of wildebeest give birth on the vast plains. The journey begins with an arrival in Tanzania, followed by an exploration of Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant herds. Afterward, we will head to Ndutu to experience the wildebeest calving and the rich wildlife that surrounds the area. The adventure continues in Central Serengeti, where game drives will provide more chances to observe diverse wildlife. The tour concludes with a visit to the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Day by Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional guide. From there, you’ll be transferred to your lodge in Arusha, where you can settle in and relax after your journey. In the evening, you will enjoy your meals at the lodge and take some time to unwind. Your guide will provide a detailed briefing about the upcoming safari, outlining the itinerary and what to expect during your adventure. You’ll spend the night at the lodge, preparing for the exciting days ahead.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast at your lodge in Arusha, you’ll depart to Tarangire National Park, a journey that will take you through scenic landscapes as you head toward one of Tanzania’s wildlife-rich areas. Upon arrival, you’ll embark on a game drive, exploring the park’s diverse habitats, home to large elephant herds, lions, giraffes, and an array of bird species.You will enjoy a picnic lunch amidst nature before continuing your wildlife exploration in the afternoon. After a fulfilling day, you’ll head to your lodge for dinner and a peaceful overnight stay near the park.

Day 3: Karatu to NDUTU AREA
You’ll leave your lodge in Karatu and journey toward the Ndutu region, located in the southern part of Serengeti. As you make your way through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you’ll pass through open plains, rich with wildlife. Upon arriving in Ndutu, you’ll see the first signs of the wildebeest migration, as herds begin to gather in preparation for the calving . After having a picnic lunch, you’ll continue with an afternoon game drive, witnessing the incredible wildlife activity in the area. In the evening you’ll head to your lodge for meals and overnight.

Day 4: WITNESS CALVING AT NDUTU
You’ll spend the entire day immersed in witnessing wildebeest calving. Ndutu offers one of nature’s most fascinating spectacles as thousands of wildebeest give birth on the open plains. The area comes alive with newborn calves, and predators such as lions and hyenas are never far behind, making it a time of both new life and survival. You’ll experience this cycle of nature up close on game drives throughout the day, with plenty of opportunities to observe not only wildebeest but also zebras, gazelles, and other wildlife that gather in this rich ecosystem. After a full day of wildlife viewing, you’ll return to camp for a peaceful evening.

Day 5: Central Serengeti National Park
After an early breakfast, you’ll leave Ndutu behind and make your way toward the Central Serengeti. As you drive through the Serengeti’s vast plains, you’ll witness the landscape gradually change, offering different wildlife sightings along the way.Central Serengeti is home to large prides of lions, leopards, elephants, and many other species. After arriving you’ll have afternoon game drives, soaking in the beauty of the Serengeti’s endless horizon and wildlife. As the sun sets, you’ll return to your lodge for a relaxing dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Central Serengeti National Park
On this day you will spend the entire day exploring Central Serengeti. You’ll have morning and afternoon game drives , going deeper into the park to see more of its wildlife. This area is famous for predator-prey interactions, so you might witness exciting hunts by lions or cheetahs. There will also be great chances to spot giraffes, hippos, large herds of buffalo and many more species. In between drives, you’ll have picnic lunch and as the day ends, you’ll return to your lodge, reflecting on the amazing wildlife you’ve seen.

Day 7: Ngorongoro crater
After an early breakfast, you’ll leave Central Serengeti and make your way toward the famous Ngorongoro Crater. As you drive through the Serengeti plains and into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you’ll enjoy scenic views along the way. Once you reach the crater, you’ll descend into its floor for an afternoon game drive. The crater is a haven for wildlife, and you’ll have the chance to spot elephants, lions, rhinos, and a variety of other animals in this unique ecosystem. After the game drive, you’ll head to your lodge for dinner and a restful overnight stay.

Day 8: Departure
After breakfast, you’ll leave your lodge and begin your journey back to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure. As you travel, you’ll have time to reflect on the unforgettable experiences and incredible wildlife encounters you’ve had during your adventure in Tanzania. With memories of the Wildebeest calving at Ndutu,Serengeti, Ngorongoro,Tarangire and more, you’ll bid farewell to this beautiful country.
