Tour Overview
This wildebeest migration group safari in Northern Serengeti, where thousands of wildebeest cross the Mara river. The journey begins with an arrival in Tanzania, followed by an exploration of Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant herds. Afterward, we will head to Ndutu to experience the wildebeest calving and the rich wildlife that surrounds the area. Day by Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional guide. From there, you’ll be transferred to your lodge in Arusha, where you can settle in and relax after your journey. In the evening, you will enjoy your meals at the lodge and take some time to unwind. Your guide will provide a detailed briefing about the upcoming safari, outlining the itinerary and what to expect during your adventure. You’ll spend the night at the lodge, preparing for the exciting days ahead.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast at your lodge in Arusha, you’ll depart to Tarangire National Park, a journey that will take you through scenic landscapes as you head toward one of Tanzania’s wildlife-rich areas. Upon arrival, you’ll embark on a game drive, exploring the park’s diverse habitats, home to large elephant herds, lions, giraffes, and an array of bird species.You will enjoy a picnic lunch amidst nature before continuing your wildlife exploration in the afternoon. After a fulfilling day, you’ll head to your lodge for dinner and a peaceful overnight stay near the park.

Day 3 : KARATU TO CENTRAL SERENGETI

You’ll leave your lodge in Karatu and travel towards Central Serengeti, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. As you drive, you’ll enjoy views of the highlands and open plains, with chances to spot wildlife along the way. At Naabi Hill Gate, your driver will handle the park entry formalities while you stretch and take in the surroundings. Afterward, you’ll continue into Central Serengeti, where the landscape opens up to rolling grasslands and scattered acacia trees, home to abundant wildlife. In the evening, you’ll arrive at your lodge for dinner and overnight rest.

Day 4: Northern Serengeti National Park

On this day, you will leave Central Serengeti and head towards Northern Serengeti, a region known for its stunning landscapes and rich wildlife. Along the way, you will enjoy a game drive, spotting animals like elephants, giraffes, and various antelope species. As you get closer to the north, the scenery will change, with more open plains and woodlands.
Northern Serengeti is famous for the Great Migration, especially from July to October. If you visit during this time, you might see thousands of wildebeest and zebras crossing the Mara River, where crocodiles wait in the water.
After an exciting day of wildlife viewing, you will arrive at your lodge, where you can relax and reflect on the incredible journey from Central to Northern Serengeti.

Day 5: WILDEBEEST MIGRATION VIEWING

You’ll spend the day watching the great wildebeest migration in Northern Serengeti. Thousands of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles move across the plains in search of fresh grass. You might witness the river crossing, where the herds make their way through the water while predators wait nearby. Throughout the day, game drives will give you a chance to see different wildlife and the movement of the herds. In the evening, you’ll return to your camp for dinner and rest.

Day 6: Central Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast, you’ll leave Northern Serengeti behind and make your way toward the Central Serengeti. As you drive through the Serengeti’s vast plains, you’ll witness the landscape gradually change, offering different wildlife sightings along the way.Central Serengeti is home to large prides of lions, leopards, elephants, and many other species. After arriving you’ll have afternoon game drives, soaking in the beauty of the Serengeti’s endless horizon and wildlife. As the sun sets, you’ll return to your lodge for a relaxing dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Ngorongoro crater

After an early breakfast, you’ll leave Central Serengeti and make your way toward the famous Ngorongoro Crater. As you drive through the Serengeti plains and into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you’ll enjoy scenic views along the way. Once you reach the crater, you’ll descend into its floor for an afternoon game drive. The crater is a haven for wildlife, and you’ll have the chance to spot elephants, lions, rhinos, and a variety of other animals in this unique ecosystem. After the game drive, you’ll head to your lodge for dinner and a restful overnight stay.

Day 8: Departure

After breakfast, you’ll leave your lodge and begin your journey back to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure. As you travel, you’ll have time to reflect on the unforgettable experiences and incredible wildlife encounters you’ve had during your adventure in Tanzania. With memories of the Wildebeest migration group safari , Central Serengeti, Ngorongoro,Tarangire and more, you’ll bid farewell to this beautiful country.
